Canada is the third largest country in the world. Canada also has more freshwater than any other country. Canada has over 3 million lakes. Canada only borders one country: the United States. Almost all of Canada's population live 300 km from the southern border. This is because Canada is so close to the North pole. Its norther temperatures are too cold for people to live there. Its climates are subtropic and arctic.

Canada has many natural resources including, agriculture, many mining resources, oil, and gas. Canada's geography helps Canada much economically because many of its exports come from oil and gas. Canada's geography also puts it in a hot spot politically. Canada is in very close proximity to both the United States and Russia. This sends both of their countries eyes to Canada seeing Canada as an easy way to get to their enemy.
